NOTAM briefing via Internet

Also this part of the flight preparation can be done conveniently from home. Log into the system via Internet and check if there are any active NOTAM restrictions for aerodrome of departure/destination and your flight route! If everything is ok, you may continue with your flight preparation (e.g.: check MET data, file your flight plan...) You may also tailor your personal NOTAM briefings in a "settings menu", to receive only the information really of interest for you.

NOTAM example:
    AGA : B) 07/01/08 08:03 UTC C) 07/01/16 15:00 UTC (A0014/07)
    A) EHAM
    E) RWY 06/24 CLSD.
Available types of briefing:
  • Route Briefing (for complete flight)
  • Aerodrome Briefing (single aerodrome)
  • Zone briefing (predefined zones)
It is worth trying out the system - there are many possibilities to retrieve the information you want. You may create briefings from flight plans and flight plans from briefings - several mechanisms are available to help you to reduce the workload during preparation!

Of course the briefings are stored in a database, any time accessible and furthermore - they are your evidence for having performed a NOTAM flight preparation.
